The agreement

What you are buying, in plain words

A licence to read, keep, print and quote the book. Not a licence to resell it. Everything below is the detail behind those two sentences.

Who you are buying from

Dhara Parikh, trading as Still Ambitious, an independent publisher trading as Calm Mastery Press. Contact: hello@stillambitious.shop. You are buying from us, not from a marketplace. Payhip runs the checkout and Stripe or PayPal takes the payment; for US and Canadian sales tax Payhip acts as marketplace facilitator, meaning it works out, collects and remits that tax for us. Your contract for the book itself is with us.

What you get

On payment you receive an immediate download of the edition you bought, and a permanent, personal, non-exclusive licence to use it. Volume 1 is delivered as three files — the animated HTML edition, the PDF and the EPUB — because different devices suit different files, not because they are three products.

What you may do

  • Read it on every device you own, for as long as you own them. There is no device limit and no activation.
  • Print any page or card, for yourself or to give to somebody who needs it.
  • Quote a card, with attribution, in a class, a newsletter, a support desk or a talk.
  • Keep it forever. There is no subscription and no expiry.
  • Receive free corrected files whenever the edition you bought is updated.

What you may not do

  • Resell it, or include it in a paid bundle, course or membership.
  • Upload the paid editions to a file-sharing site, or post them publicly for download.
  • Republish substantial parts of it as your own work, or feed the whole book into a product that regurgitates it.
  • Remove the copyright notice.

The free Pocket Edition is different: you may share that file freely and widely, with anyone, by any means. It is meant to travel.

The refund

Thirty days, no questions, in full. The refund page sets out exactly how it works, and nothing on this page limits it.

What the book is not

It is a plain-language reference, not professional, legal, financial or security advice. Where a card warns you about a scam or a setting, the warning is general. Technology changes; a card that was accurate when written may age. When something matters — money, an account, a document you cannot lose — check with the bank, the company, or a person you trust before you act.

Limits

The book is provided as it is. We do not promise it is free of every error, and we will fix any error you report. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything connected with the book is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are untouched by any of this.

How it was made

The terms were chosen and checked for accuracy by a person. The explanations, analogies and examples were drafted with an AI writing tool, then edited and verified card by card. The drawings are vector illustrations produced from code by the same AI tool and checked by hand against their sentences. Under Amazon's and most retailers' definitions this counts as AI-generated content, and we say so wherever we sell it. We think the honest label matters more than the flattering one.

Your local law applies to you

Wherever you live, the consumer-protection rules of your own country apply to this purchase and cannot be signed away by anything on this page. If those rules give you a right we have not mentioned here, you still have it.

Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version in force when you bought is the version that governs your purchase, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
