What exactly do I get for $29?

Volume 1 · Everyday: all 275 words, in fifteen chapters, as three files. The animated edition opens in any browser and the drawings move. The PDF is 295 pages and prints. The EPUB is for a Kindle or a reading app. One payment, all three, yours to keep.

Is this a real book or a PDF somebody made in an afternoon?

Every one of the 275 cards was drawn specifically for this book, from code, so that the picture proves the sentence rather than decorating it. Each card carries five layers: the word, what it means, a drawing, an analogy, and an example from an ordinary day. Take the free hundred first and judge for yourself — that is what it is for.

Why is the free edition so big?

Because a hundred words is enough to be genuinely useful, and we would rather you knew what the book is before paying for it than after. If the free hundred solves your problem, keep it and spend nothing.

I am not good with computers. Is this going to be over my head?

It is written for exactly that. No jargon is used to explain jargon, every card has a picture, and every card has a moment from an ordinary day — a text about a parcel, a film that stops in the back bedroom. If a card needs you to already know something, that is our mistake and we want to hear about it.

Will it work on my iPad / phone / old laptop / Kindle?

Yes. The animated edition needs only a browser and works offline. The PDF opens on anything. The EPUB is for Kindle and reading apps. If something will not open, write to us and we will send you the file that does.

Do I need to be online to read it?

No. Download once and everything works with the internet switched off, on a plane or in a room with no signal. The files contain no tracking and never phone home.

What if I do not like it?

Thirty days, no questions, full refund, and you keep the files. One line to hello@stillambitious.shop is the whole process.

Is this written by AI?

Partly, and we will not pretend otherwise. The words were drafted with an AI writing tool and then edited and checked card by card by a person; the drawings are vector illustrations produced from code by the same tool and checked by hand against their sentences. Under the definitions Amazon and most retailers use, that makes it AI-generated content, and we declare it as such everywhere we sell it. What we can promise is that a human read all 275 cards and threw out the ones where the picture did not prove the sentence.

Can I give it to my mother / my team / my students?

Share the free edition as widely as you like — that is what it is for. The paid editions are licensed to you personally, but you may print any card and hand it to whoever needs it. For a whole team or a class, write to us; we would rather find a sensible arrangement than have you feel like a criminal.

Is Volume 2 out, and will I have to buy Volume 1 again?

Volume 2 · Professional is out now — the 255 specialist terms, $29, at payhip.com/b/UEqso. You never buy the same words twice: the two volumes do not overlap. If you want both, the bundle is $49 rather than $58 — payhip.com/b/GJx0y. Buying Volume 1 first locks you out of nothing.

Will there be a printed copy?

A paperback is being prepared. If you want to know when it lands, join the list on the book page.

Who is behind this?

Dhara Parikh, trading as Still Ambitious, publishing as Calm Mastery Press. A small independent press, not a company with a support department. You can see the whole catalogue at stillambitious.shop.
